Engine compartment – hood insulations

Hood insulations are manufactured from the well proven and optimized material triflexadvanced.
If required, they can be prepared with chemical flame retardant or – in a patented procedure – pressed into a honeycomb structure. This saves costs, is environmentally friendly and self-extinguishing, even with an improved sound absorption.

Further advantages:
- recycled natural fibres as raw materials
- price stability, as not dependent on oil price
Alternatively, the material iboPUR can be used. IboPUR stands for heat resistant insulations made from PUR foam, which also stand out due to an extremely low weight.
