By using special glass fibres, iboTherm is extremely heat-resistant and can be directly applied at heat sources which radiate up to 1,050 °C.

Apart from this high heat resistance, at a simultaneous low thermal conductivity, the material achieves a high acoustic absorption effect.

With these characteristics, iboTherm is used in the automotive and home appliances industry; however, it also meets the requirements of other areas of application, e.g. in shipbuilding, industrial facilities, furnaces or for protective clothing.
